Aish Sunday School is a fun and engaging program to not only teach your kids Hebrew reading, Hebrew language, and about the Jewish Holidays, but we also infuse Jewish values, nurture their Jewish spirit and help them grow a love of Judaism. Classes are Sunday morning from 9:30-11:45. We start with Rabbi T time for morning prayers, and end with lunch for the whole family. We want you to get to know our teachers, other families during lunch. You will also be ready to tackle the rest of your Sunday with full hearts and bellies!
Each week we start with an engaging and interactive morning prayer service led by Rabbi Tolwin. Our learning continues as we split up into leveled Hebrew reading groups under the guidance of our Kriah specialist Morah Hindy Feldman. Then we join our regular grade level classes to learn about the weekly Torah portion, Jewish Holidays, stories from the Torah, Hebrew language and Jewish values. A light snack is served after reading groups and we commence with family lunch at 11:45 where families are encouraged mingle and enjoy!

Our Team:
Ayala Kohn has over 17 years of teaching experience with adults and children of all ages and backgrounds. She has taught both Jewish and general studies in elementary school, a cooking elective for middle school students, taught classes for women and high school students, has run a successful Bat Mitzvah program and mommy and me classes in conjunction with PJ Library. She was honored to have founded Aish Sunday School with the Tolwins twelve years ago. And now after a number of years in Columbus, OH she is glad to be back!
