It's a snow day! You are at home so turn on the zoom and join us for a fun Hamen Tashen Bake class for all ages. Fill your dough with all types of creative fillings, and your home with special feelings. Never waste a snow day, and create great memories! while getting in the spirit of Purim.
Traditional hamentashen dough
This makes 2 dozen
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup veggie oil
2-21/2 cups flour
Mix eggs, baking powder, vanilla, sugar and oil till well combined. Add flour and mix till combined, kneed with hands to get a smooth dough.
It is ready to use immediately!!
Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out circles. Add a teaspoon of filling and fold up into a triangle.
Bake at 350 for 15/20 minutes till edges start to brown.
